Shell

Built from new a shell by CCi Motorsport and specifically designed for the VW Cup, this is not another converted road car!  

The shell was acid dipped before being extensively seam welded to increase rigidity.  Lightened body panels throughout the vehicle.

Dry break quick fill refuelling system linked to a 60L tank in the rear of the car.


Engine & Gearbox

Recently rebuilt by Grant Motorsport, the 1.8L 20V Turbo engine has completed just 1 test session since.

Fantastic specification including Teflon coated forged pistons, steel ZRP Conrods, uprated big end bearings, L19 ARP bolts and a balanced crank shaft.  The cylinder head has been ported and match flowed to allow 1.6bar of boost produced by a new KO4 turbocharger.  Steel head gasket, metal water pump upgrade, new oil pump, new cambelt kit, new radiator and new larger intercooler.


Close ratio gearbox and LSD from a Vento cup car with a race clutch.  Short shift gear lever with uprated cables selector cables.


Handling

2-way adjustable LEDA dampers front and rear with custom spring ratings.  Adjustable front camber and toe from rose jointed top mounts.  Front cross member is adjustable and strengthened also.

AP racing 4-pot front brake calliper with 320mm discs.  Rear brakes are standard equipment with driver adjustable brake distribution.


Interior

Circuit racing seat eligible for Motorsport UK sanctioned events although out of date for FIA.  New roll cage padding and flocked dash.


Spares Package

A spares package is available by separate negotiation as I'm happy to keep spares for my other race car.
